Who is this service for?
Through its telephone helpline, ISS Switzerland answers questions from individuals, authorities, child and adult protection services, other cantonal institutions and private organisations.
What kind of questions?
This advice service provides information on the international legal framework and transnational procedures relating to child and adult protection: parental responsibilities, child abduction, intercountry adoption, obtaining documents, search for origins and tracing people.
Depending on the situation, the request may then be referred to one of our services: social and legal support, international family mediation, transnational family consultations or return assistance.
